Saji Pillai, MD, is a graduate of Ambedkar Medical School in India. She trained in internal medicine at the UTSW/ St. Paul University Hospital and was chief resident, graduating in 2005.
She has been practicing since 2005 in the DFW area as an outpatient primary care physician and inpatient hospitalist. She has been involved in medical education for the past 18 years and had a passion for teaching. She is an associate professor at TCU School of Medicine and currently a program director for an internal medicine residency program in Paris, Texas.. Dr. Pillai is an advocate for the patient and hence strongly believes in the values of urgentcare2go and zeal to heal clinics. Patients come first. Sharing the mindset with her clinic partner Dr. Nangrani advocates for the best possible care utilizing technology, using clinical knowledge and ultimately coming to a shared medical decision with the patient. Dr. Pillai is board certified in internal medicine. Has a beautiful family with her husband, 2 daughters, 2 dogs. She enjoys hanging out with family and friends.
