Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

VirtualCare2Go

What types of bloodwork and screenings do you offer?

We offer routine labs, metabolic panels, CBC, thyroid tests, hormone testing, vitamin levels, lipid panels, diabetes screening, infection testing, wellness panels, and preventive screenings. Available tests vary by service type.

Can you perform lab draws at home?

Yes — UrgentCare2Go and IVTherapy2Go provide in-home blood draws for most standard and wellness-focused lab panels.

Can telemedicine order my lab work?

Yes — VirtualCare2Go providers can electronically order labs after your virtual consultation.

How fast will I receive my lab results?

Most results are available within 24–72 hours depending on the test. Some specialty labs may take longer.

Do you accept insurance for testing?

Insurance is accepted for clinic and mobile urgent care services. Wellness-focused IV lab panels may be cash-based depending on the test.

Do I need to fast before my lab tests?

Some tests — such as lipid panels and glucose assessments — may require fasting. Your provider will give you instructions before your appointment.

Is bloodwork safe?

Yes. All samples are collected by licensed and trained medical professionals following strict safety and infection control protocols.

Can you test for infections or acute symptoms?

Yes — depending on your service type, we can evaluate for infections such as strep, flu, COVID-19, UTIs, and more.

How do mobile lab visits work?

A licensed clinician arrives at your home, verifies your identity, performs the blood draw or test, and coordinates sample delivery to the lab.

How do virtual visits work for lab orders?

During a telehealth visit, the provider reviews your symptoms and orders the correct labs. You can complete them at an approved lab site or through our partnered mobile services.

Are my results confidential?

Yes — all services are fully HIPAA-compliant. Your results are securely stored and released only to you.

Do you provide follow-up care after results?

Yes. Providers can review results, recommend next steps, adjust medications, or schedule additional care.
